About Sarah Long

My biggest strength is my ability to hit the ground running when I find myself in a new situation or an old situation that requires significant pivot. I am motivated by a challenge and solve complex issues by breaking them down, step by step. I make connections between struggles and elegant solutions to bring success to the forefront. To achieve this, I focus on bringing teams together, addressing roadblocks head on, and quickly adapting to new learnings. Using my extensive construction experience on the tools as a plumber, I successfully moved from the residential side of the water meter to the engineered distribution network and beyond. I have enjoyed getting to know many municipalities and delivering countless capital projects throughout my career in infrastructure project management. In my spare time you can find me downloading my knowledge of the built environment onto any ear willing to listen, volunteering with the industry or with turtle rescues, or pointing out capital assets that I’ve been a part of developing.
