I am a dedicated, empathetic, and energetic educator with a strong commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning. Known for building genuine relationships and fostering positive learning environments, I bring a flexible and strengths-based approach to education that supports diverse learners academically, socially, and emotionally. My experience spans 7 - 12 and postsecondary settings, with a particular focus on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), culturally responsive pedagogy, and mental wellness.As a Learning Facilitator within Fleming College’s Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) program, I have gained hands-on experience supporting adult learners with diverse abilities. In this role, I collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to design and facilitate engaging, accessible activities, adapt instruction to individual strengths and needs, and promote independence, confidence, and community belonging among students. I am skilled in implementing accommodations, supporting IEP goals, and creating inclusive spaces where learners feel respected, capable, and empowered.Complementing my educational background, I bring extensive leadership and supervision experience from managing and training large, diverse teams in fast-paced environments. This experience has strengthened my classroom management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, and has reinforced my ability to lead with patience, positivity, and clarity. Overall, I am a reflective practitioner who values collaboration, adaptability, and lifelong learning, and I am deeply motivated to support learner success across educational and community-based settings.
