Background
About Sarah Melaragno
As a previous undergraduate in Interactive Multimedia Design at Ohio University, I have experience with many aspects of both publication and interactive design, as well as various Adobe programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, XD, and Premier Pro. I have experience coding websites from scratch using both HTML and CSS, as well as some JavaScript. As an undergraduate, I also gained experience producing audio stories, audio slideshows, video stories, as well as still photography. From 2018 to 2020, I was employed at Ohio University's Kennedy Museum of Art as Outreach Programs Assitant and then Education Communications Assistant. Through these two positions, I was able to gain extremely valuable first-hand experience in many aspects of museum work; from promotional design and educational programming to collections care and artistic research. Currently, I am enrolled in Ohio University's one-year Master of Arts Adminstration graduate program pursuing a specialization in Museum Studies with an emphasis in Education. I feel that this program has effectively prepared me to pursue my passion for museum work after I receive my degree in the Spring of 2021.
