About Sarah Monroe

I am office manager and agency "mom" to a wonderful crew at Catapult Creative. I take care of a variety of tasks from day-to-day clerical work to project investigation. I am a freelance writer for area media outlets including Dayton City Paper and Dayton.com. I am also writing my first novel. I have been in customer service since the age of fourteen where I started my career in a local bakery. I celebrated ten years as an associate with the Home Depot. In my time there, my job set ranged from Head Cashier to Kitchen Designer, among many others. I enjoyed moving departments so I could gain more knowledge to become an invaluable asset for the team. I earned my associates in Creative Writing and Communications from Sinclair College and will continue my education in Communications at Franklin University. I am a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, and I enjoy every minute of it. I will eventually pursue my 500-hour certification. In the military, I wanted to learn something that would benefit me in civilian life, so I chose civil engineering. There, I learned the basics in construction and welding. Blockbuster was my job during high school while I attended Patterson Career Center, as my studies involved Radio & Television.
