With over 7 years of experience in the domestic violence sector, I have dedicated my career to supporting families impacted by domestic violence and abuse. Starting as a frontline worker, I worked directly with victim survivors, providing advocacy, support, and practical assistance in a trauma-informed and survivor-led manner. I focused on empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their journey to safety, while offering both emotional and practical support during their most critical moments. Building on this foundation, I transitioned into managing a crisis refuge accommodation, where I oversee the day-to-day operations of a safe housing facility for victim survivors. In this leadership role, I ensure that families receive the immediate care, refuge, and resources they need while maintaining a trauma-informed and survivor-led approach to all aspects of service delivery. My experience has honed my skills in crisis management, team leadership, and service coordination, all with a focus on creating a safe and empowering space for those affected by domestic violence
