About Sarah Pactor

Sarah Pactor graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a major in Sociology and minors in Policy Analysis and Management; Inequality Studies; Law and Society; and Crime, Prisons, Education, and Justice. Since then, Sarah has coupled her love of math and science with her desire to do impactful work in her career. She began her career at Friends of Brooklyn Laboratory Charter Schools (non-profit education sector) as a Project Associate, reporting to the CFO, and was promoted twice–to Senior Project Associate and then to Senior Project Coordinator. Sarah gained experience in project management, financial operations, and data analysis, which she enjoys, and left to take on a contract consulting position as a Data Manager at the NYC Dept of Education, working for one of her former colleagues at Brooklyn Lab. Sarah’s incredible work ethic, leadership, teamwork, and her ability to improve efficiencies make her an asset to any organization. Sarah developed her work ethic, leadership, and teamwork skills early on, working throughout college at law firms and Cornell Dining (where she was also promoted), holding leadership positions at the Cornell Ski and Snowboard Club, including Vice President, and successfully planning and executing two ski trips for 23+ students. She began skiing at an early age and raced on the varsity team at Horace Greeley High School for four years. She also played on the volleyball team at both school and outside travel clubs and played violin in the school orchestra.
