About Sarah Padilla
To reach my career goal as an FBI Forensic Scientist, I have successfully earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and my Master's degree in Forensic Science. I find myself having a great time in laboratory settings and I love applying the concepts I learn in class to the real world. As a budding scientist assisting with biochemical research, I have learned a lot of lessons throughout my experiences. The most important lesson being that "science takes time". This was a tough concept to accept in a world of instant gratification, however, in my time at Stevenson University, I have discovered that science is built on trial and error. The entire foundation of science is based on a tireless cycle of problem-solving. Although it can be difficult at times, I have found that I enjoy troubleshooting issues in order to fight in the common name of science!
