About Sarah Pendle

I am currently working as a Biodiversity Net Gain Consultant at Urban Green, following an enjoyable season as a seasonal ecologist. I predominantly provide feasibility and design stage assessments for both commercial and residential developments across the country if varying sizes, using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric. I also advise to clients and landscape architects on maximising biodiversity on their site, and provide CPD training to clients around the uses and benefits of BNG. Prior to my current role I completed an MSc in Wildlife Conservation at University of Salford and a BSc in Zoology with an industrial placement year in Sweden. I have previously worked for 3 years as a Medical Writer, developing marketing and scientific materials for a pharmaceutical client, focussing on Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. I also regularly met with clients to understand their needs and then communicated this to the rest of my team, delegating work and managing multiple projects in parallel.
