Background
About Sarah Priston
An accomplished Manager, leading a high performance Research Support team at Bath Spa University. Has managed the last two REF submissions, as well as the University's KEF and KE Concordat submissions. Responsible for the HR Excellence in Research Award over last 10 years, and manages the Researcher Development programme, public engagement and impact, research ethics and integrity, KE activities and research strategy and support. Currently acting as an HR Excellence in Research eternal reviewer, a member of UPEN professional development sub-committee and represents GuildHE on a number of groups and committees relating to research strategy, open research and research ethics and integrity. Strengths are as a creative thinker - working in a small team across a university with limited resources to support research allows for a flexible and adaptive approach. I prefer a collaborative approach and have excellent working relationships with academic staff and professional services departments.
