I am a very compassionate and empathetic nurse who genuinely cares for each and every single patient that I care for. I have always been commended on my bedside manner and how well I connect with my patients. I began my nursing career right after the covid19 pandemic hit. I worked on a forty-one-bed Med-Surg unit that quickly turned into a forty-six-bed Medical/Surgical/Covid unit. I am a fast learner, so I was no longer training under a nurse after four weeks instead of eight weeks. I wanted to help the nurses overloaded with patients daily due to Covid19. I became a nurse because of the love I have for serving others. I strive daily to be the nurse I trust to care for my mom/dad/grandparent/kid. I am a very hard worker who takes pride in doing things correctly while being time efficient. I would be an excellent asset to your team.Throughout my career, I have perfected my critical thinking and time management abilities. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency.In my previous role, I contributed critical thinking, time management, and acts of leadership toward team efforts and business improvements. I am progressive-minded and in tune with new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective and collaborative with solid teamwork talents. I enjoy joint brainstorming sessions, which allow coordinating activities to achieve a common goal. According to every manager I have ever had, I am a very high performer; therefore, I got assigned to the most critical team of patients and always balanced a significant caseload. The nurse-to-patient ratio was 1:6 during Covid on the frontlines, and sometimes it was 1:7 or 1:8. The patients I cared for were considered ICU/PCU acuity due to the ICU and PCU being full with no more beds available. I managed Bipap and ventilated patients on the floor. I learned more than I could ever imagine throughout those years as a floor nurse. In my current role, I am a Home Health Care RN case manager. I manage 30-40 patients cases at a time. I perform initial assessment and admission. I follow the admissions I perform and am responsible for recertifications to the agency along with assessing patients for discharge. I am apart of an amazing interdisciplinary team that provides amazing care to each patient we care for. I am huge on patient-centered care and advocating for what is suitable for my patient. I know I will be an asset to any company I work for. I am looking for a forever work place home at this time and look forward to any opportunities given
