I have spent my entire professional life working in the people business! Whatever role I find myself inhabiting-grocery store cashier, Operations Manager of a 10 million + business, or service coordinator-I believe in treating each individual with honor, dignity, and respect. It is the utmost responsibility of every company in every industry to have a positive influence on all they come in contact with, clients and team members included! I am passionate about working with a company that fosters growth, engagement, and empowerment. I believe in servant leadership and leading by example and influence, not titles. I spent 13 years with a company working my way from team member to Operations Manager and gained hard-earned skills in recruiting, interviewing and hiring, scheduling, inventory control, accounting, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership. My role as an Operations Manager taught me how to take responsibility and accountability for a fast-paced business, and leverage that role to meet goals with calm critical thinking skills.I am currently enrolled in SNHU with plans to complete my Bachelor's in Psychology and a Minor in Communications in 2025. I will be a first generation college graduate and I've already started planning the party! I am very passionate about advocating for the intellectually and developmentally disabled community and believe in the progression of disabled rights and opportunities.Oh and. my favorite color is purple, I love dogs, and I consider Kelly Kapoor's answer the only appropriate response to the question,"what are your weaknesses?"
