Senior physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience across emergency care, acute orthopaedics, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy and private practice. Currently a senior Physiotherapist within the Emergency Department at Mater Dei Hospital, working in a high-acuity setting and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.My clinical focus is musculoskeletal and trauma rehabilitation, including red flag screening, post-operative recovery and persistent pain management. I independently assess and manage complex presentations, integrating imaging findings and evidence-based guidelines into clinical decision-making.I hold an MSc in Orthopaedic Trauma Science (Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London, with advanced training in research methodology, systematic review and critical appraisal. Alongside clinical practice, I contribute to service development initiatives, supervise undergraduate physiotherapy students and support the development of clinical guidelines and educational materials.I am particularly interested in advancing high standards of patient care, strengthening clinical governance frameworks and contributing to innovative approaches within rehabilitation and healthcare delivery.
