About Sarah Sequeira

As a graduate student in psychotherapy, my hopes are to continue my professional career in children's mental health, particularly working in community-based settings. My understanding of mental health is very much influenced by biopsychosocial models of well-being, suggesting that our physical, psychological and social health is very much intertwined. Being trained from a systemic-relational lens, I give consideration to context, community and environment in supporting my clients. This also informs my personal interests, from fitness to advocacy. Prior to commencing my graduate studies, I worked in psychological research, community-based outreach and non-profit volunteer coordination. I have developed my skills in communications, knowledge mobilization, professional writing, event planning, experiential marketing and more.
