About Sarah Sharp

With a varied career in nursing, small business ownership and volunteer governance roles for Equestrian for Everyone and North Shore Playcentre Association, I believe my strengths lie in my resourcefulness, empathy, and adaptability to change. As a leader, I have a transformational approach to leadership, with the belief that you must get the team on board and alongside you and lead from there. I take pride in building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and community agencies and using my communication skills to deliver presentations, chair meetings, address groups in formal and informal settings and act as a spokesperson in the local community. When I am not at work, I enjoy pursuing my interests in landscape design, art and books, spending time in the great outdoors and volunteering for a local group that knits warm clothes and blankets for the homeless and women leaving domestic violence. I am always interested in connecting with like-minded people who share an interest in developing mutually beneficial business relationships.
