About Sarah Stuart

I have worked in the ever changing and constantly competitive industry of cosmetology for over 20 years. I have owned my own salon for 13 of those years. This amazing career has given me the ability to develope strong transferable skills. Some of these include; building/maintaining relationships. social perceptiveness, complex problem solving, active listening, strong communication and much more. The ability to work so intimately with the public, stired a desire inside of me to understand human behavior/connection even deeper. After finishing my B.S. in Psych my plans will be to further my knowledge of human connection through grad school, where I plan to pursue a PhD in social psychology. I love every second I have enjoyed as a business owner and plan to continue to maintain the level of expertise that allowed a successful career serving peopl. The studies I am pursuing allow me to have a deeper understanding of people and their needs, which is exactly what the service industry is all about! Growth, innovation and change are all a pivotal part of business longevity. I will continue to find ways to offer clients the most in the competitive industry in which I work. All while expanding my knowledge in order to serve people better!
