About Sarah Sultman

Sarah Sultman is a parent of three children, two who are neurotypical and one with SEN. She is the co-founder of Gesher, a Jewish all-through school which has been designed especially for children who are differently able and who learn differently. Gesher School has been awarded Ofsted outstanding twice since it opened in 2017. In a previous life I worked in fund management for 12 years and loved the buzz of the city. But lifes journey has taken me down a different route. I now find myself advocating for system-wide educational transformation, a convert of project based learning as opposed to traditional teaching methods, a believer in experiential Jewish education and a champion of community inclusion. I have worked with the Foundation of Education Development and many organisations in my community consulting on inclusion and diversity training and programmes pertaining to SEN and I am also the co founder of The Bnei Mitzvah Challenge - an annual event that encourages Jewish young people to take on a tough physical challenge, learn about their heritage and fund raise encouraging a new generation of philanthropy. My passions are climbing mountains and trekking, dancing at festivals, jewish learning, trees, pondering the big questions and eating cake.
