About Sarah Sutton

After walking the 500 mile+ Camino de Santiago in northern Spain during the Fall of 2017, I returned home with a desire to shift my career trajectory. While I’d been very fortunate and greatly appreciated the support, comradery and meaningful work at PlaceWorks, and previous firms, I was ready to set out on my own and build a private practice that emphasized teaching, consulting and private sector design work with a regenerative/habitat restoration focus, while also having the freedom to spend quality time with my family, including my 3-year-old grandson. I’ve moved to the Sierra Foothills near Yosemite National Park in the midst of ample open space and native habitats. This wonderful daily connection with nature inspires me to continue to make a difference in the world – for the environment and to better the quality of life within our communities. I also enjoy nurturing professional collaborations that further these goals, as together we can accomplish so much more.
