My role at Howie, Kent & Co is within the commercial lettings department where, alongside Jon Bartlett who is based in Essex, we specialise in finding the right tenants for our rural landowner clients. We handle the successful introductions of landlords and tenants with the ultimate goal of keep our clients’ units full all year round. At Howie, Kent & Co, we pride ourselves on providing reliable, personable and entrepreneurial advice to clients meaning we try and get the right tenant into our clients’ properties as quickly as possible. We will always be honest about the current market and options for landlords new to the commercial market. We keep an up-to-date database of tenants currently looking for specific properties across England and we can document commercial leases for our clients. All tenants do not suit all units, and you need the right tenant in the right unit. My job is to make this happen. We operate in the south-east and the West Midlands, but we have our largest following of clients and potential tenants in the Essex and Cambridgeshire area. I am predominantly based in our office in Shropshire but my knowledge of south-east and its geography has grown immeasurably in the five years I've been with the company. While working at Howie, Kent & Co and growing the commercial department over the last five years, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2021 with BPP University. I completed my Independent Research Essay in Housing Law in 2020 which complimented my role perfectly. Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree in French and Italian and have since travelled and worked abroad in various locations to consolidate these skills. I have experience in hotel management, translation and intellectual property services since graduating in 2014.
