About Sarah Warn

I am a food packaging specialist with over 25 years experience in the catering, food production and food service industry. Over the years I have had the privilege to work on many innovative and award-winning NPD projects leading to new packaging solutions. My role at Herald combines key account management and new business relationships with food service businesses, distributors, retailers and end- user organisations. I am an accomplished, versatile and results-driven professional with a passion for packaging. I have a proven track record in identifying opportunities, building relationships, adding value and ultimately benefiting the client and my employer’s bottom line. I started my career as a chef before working for packaging distributors and now for a leading packaging manufacturer. New market opportunities and the environmental and sustainable issues make this an exciting time to work in food packaging. A major contributor to my success is my ability to build effective professional relationships. This has underpinned many award-winning new product developments and product launches and partnership level relationships. Some people have become personal friends as a result. NPD examples include- a salad container – the creative idea was a ‘speedboat’ for salad and sandwich - a new delivery pack, in clear rPET or PP - an oval eco bowl – that fit in hand for street food - for Tortilla, n award-winning alternative to a wire basket & sheet insert - for Tossed – grew with account from 1 shop to 28. Close professional relationship and friendship developed. Outside work and family I enjoy travelling, sports, entertaining and reading.
