As the founder and CEO of Sarah Wells Bags, she transformed her lived experience as a working mom into a mission-driven, multi-million-dollar brand built on parent-first innovation. Along the way, she has forged strategic partnerships, mobilized resources, and built a business that advances with purpose. Before launching her company, Sarah spent more than a decade in policy and nonprofit leadership. At Women In Government, she cultivated bipartisan partnerships to advance solutions supporting women in public office across all 50 states. Later, as Executive Director of the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long-Term Care, she secured milestone funding and led national coalitions amplifying the voices of nursing home residents and their families; work that contributed to critical reforms achieved in the Affordable Care Act. With degrees in Public Policy and Women’s Studies from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s from American University, Sarah blends strategic insight with lived experience.
