About Saras Sutedja

Saras is an accounting graduate turned sustainability advocate with a passion for driving positive environmental change. While pursuing her BBA in Professional Accounting at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, she discovered her passion for sustainability. She concentrated on sustainable consumption and life cycle assessment (LCA) research, contributing as part of the research team to Greenpeace East Asia’s "Reusable is Futurable" publication. Saras began her professional journey at South Pole, where she was an inaugural member of the Carbon Projects Risk and Integrity function. In this role, she supported the global voluntary carbon market across diverse technologies, including nature-based solutions, sustainable technologies, and community-based projects. Currently, Saras is deepening her expertise in carbon projects at Carbon EX, a Japan-based carbon credit and emissions trading platform. As a Global Business Development Representative, she connects with project developers worldwide, advancing the platform's mission to tackle climate challenges through innovative solutions. Outside of work, Saras is dedicated to leading a balanced and healthier lifestyle. She trains with a focus on SBD (squat, bench, and deadlift) and shares her passion for fitness by coaching others.
