About Sarasij Maitra
I am an algebraist by training alongside teaching various undergraduate mathematics courses to more than 700 students. I am deeply drawn towards applications of mathematical topics such as Multivariable Calculus, Principal Component Analysis, Singular Value Decomposition, Statistical Inference etc. in practical problems arising in Data Science and Machine Learning using Python. I have explored these interests through bootcamps such as Erdos, and am currently looking to apply these skills in a collaborative setting in the tech and finance sectors. I am equally interested in nurturing my project management skills as a natural extension of my role as an approachable and efficient mathematics instructor.
