My journey in the field of data science is marked by my current role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, where I'm pursuing my Master's in Data Science. My professional experience includes over five years as a Data Engineer at IBM, where I honed skills in ETL processes and PySpark. My core competencies lie in utilizing large language models and machine learning to drive data solutions. At IBM, our team developed a web-based portal and a proof of concept for a voice-interactive executive dashboard, leveraging Python Flask and Watson SDK. We successfully implemented data engineering processes using Python and Spark technologies to refresh data from diverse sources. My motivation is to foster an environment of innovation, and my goal is to contribute to the organization with my expertise in machine learning and large language models, bringing a fresh perspective and a collaborative approach to the team.
