About Sareh Zonoobi

The art of teaching, is the art of assisting discovery” My passion for teaching and supporting others is what I truly inspire to do every day. My belief is that each of us has no limits to what we can achieve, and as an educator I strive to inspire students to believe and achieve their goals. As an educator, my pursuit for higher education has no limits and most recently I achieved an MBA at University Canada West. This has been a great asset to my background in Education and teaching English as a second Language. Upon graduation, I was offered a position at the University as a student success facilitator, which allows me the opportunity to support and inspire students in their career pursuits. Supporting students (both International and domestic) as they transition to life in Canada, is inspiring, motivating and provides me with new challenges every day. From Mental Health support to guidance on mentorship and leadership resources, I listen, provide empathy, and most importantly support. As a facilitator, I lead workshops for new student orientation and facilitate various events and information sessions to ensure students are engaged. Leadership and initiative are my core strengths, whether it’s making a decision, problem-solving or just “jumping right in” to support co-workers or students. Teamwork always makes the dream work and having a network of professional mentors, ensures that I am always ready to learn from others while sharing my knowledge and expertise.
