About Sari Halonen

I am working as a senior test engineer in integration and verification team at Nokia. My main aim is to get L3-call trough with new HW or new feature. I love to struggle in problems and get those solved. For I&V I have now worked rought ten years. I have also strong background for SOC-design. At the University of Oulu I concentrate mainly to study analog and digital IC-design and after it I was working 12 years of doing ASICs in Nokia, Oulu. After design several years of ASICs I changed to opposite end of the design path to I&V. VHDL is like mother tongue for me -D I see myself most like researcher and developer. I like to dig and detect possible problems (also from my own work) and I feel good to find those and better when those are solved. I like to study new things and apply those to my work - it's my everyday job. I can stand 2-3 silent days at work, but then I need to start doing something. I am also able to lead projects and work towards the targets and have strong will to get things or products to be done. Decision making and carrying responsibility is natural for me. My main hobby at the moment is search and rescue dog training.
