About Sari Siitonen

Worked in the field of clinical trials since 2010 as Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA), Clinical Research Associate (CRA and SrCRA), Clinical Project Manager (CPM) and latest Clinical Research Manager (CRM). Has been part of international study teams conducting several different indication areas and phases I-IV. Versatile work experience from trial start-up until close out. Also being responsible of EC/RA submissions, clinical trial agreements and budget negotiations. Experienced with site selection, site initiation and site monitoring oversight as role of CPM and CRM. Currently performs pre-valitations routinely, manages and oversights the overall study progress, keeps study teams and upper management informed and gives guidance and support for CRAs and country teams. Works with clinical data management systems daily (CTMS, eTMF, eCRF and IRT), reviews monitoring reports weekly and maintains trial related documentation routinely. In the past several years’ experience of monitoring activities and site management as role of CRA/SrCRA. Has applicable educational knowledge from biochemistry (MSc) and management and leadership. Approachable, precise and organized person who works well in a dynamic environment. Has productive and creative way of work and works well as team leader. Motivated to learn more and develop professional and clinical trial management skills. I am excited to be part of clinical study teams which are responsible for taking a new medicines to the patients and customers.
