Hello hello! How are you? Very good, thank you! And you? Trust, Engagement, Challenge, and Play are the names of my game. You already have everything you need to raise a happy, healthy & engaged child. My mission is to help you reveal this and empower you to focus on and embrace your impact on supporting a child's development, interactions, and health. Children become curious and adventurous in a safe, predictable, affectionate environment that encourages a challenge-accepted problem-solving growth mindset (AND in order to solve problems, we first have to experience problems!). This is where I come in. WHO AM I? I'm Sarina (AKA Nina)- your Parent Empowering Professional I work with parents, therapists, educators, administrators, medical professionals, oh - and the children of course- to build a strong, collaborative and consistent support for the developing child. I guide new parents to tune into their baby's cues to develop a strong first relationship for lifelong growth I specialize in infant and children feeding skills, be it tube, breast, bottle, spoon, fork, hands or any combination to support a child's advancement in motor, sensory, and social lifelong mealtimes I support parents and children with complex communication challenges understand and expand their purpose and drive to communicate with others for lifelong application I have a professional interest in supporting children with complex medical presentations I mentor other professionals in child development for my lifelong drive and world impact I do all of this through my company - THE AIRPLANE SPOON 🥄 The Airplane Spoon's name is referring to the imaginary game that parents or caregivers use when spoon-feeding a baby or a child in order for meal time to be more enjoyable. I love this meaning because it represents connection, joy, positivity, communication and understanding each other.
