Background
About Saronik Basu
Backend Developer | Java, Python, ASP.NET | API Integration.Backend developer and recent IT graduate from the University of South Australia with practical experience in API integration and workflow automation. I build efficient, scalable solutions that solve real business problems.During my software engineering internship, I developed automated workflows that streamlined invoice processing and created marketing automation system, reducing manual work and improving operational efficiency. This experience taught me how to translate business needs into technical solutions that deliver measurable value. My technical toolkit includes Java, Python, JavaScript, and ASP.NET for backend development, with hands-on experience in API integration, N8N automation platform, and database systems. I'm equally comfortable working across the full stack when needed, having built projects using HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.Beyond coding, I've served as a U-Buddy at UniSA, mentoring international and first-year students through their university journey. This role strengthened my communication skills and reinforced the importance of clear documentation and knowledge sharing—skills that translate directly to collaborative development environments. What drives me: Creating software that makes processes smoother, faster, and more reliable. Whether it's automating repetitive tasks or building robust backend systems, I focus on solutions that create lasting impact.I'm actively seeking graduate software engineering opportunities in Adelaide or remotely where I can contribute to meaningful projects while continuing to grow as a developer.Let's connect if you're looking for a backend developer who combines technical capability with practical problem-solving.
