Background

About Sarun Neamnom

I am a Senior Technologist (Senior Process engineer) with experience in refinery operations, project management, and process optimization, specializing in hydrocracking, isomerization, and linear alkyl benzene production. Throughout my career, I have successfully led major initiatives, including the 2024 hydrocracking unit turnaround at Thaioil, where I managed catalyst replacement and activation, optimizing schedules to minimize downtime. I have also spearheaded projects such as the LABIX debottleneck and revamp initiatives, achieving production capacity increases of 6 KTA and 16 KTA, respectively, through meticulous technical evaluations, hazard analyses, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. My role in the 2020 LABIX major turnaround resulted in completing critical activities 9 days ahead of schedule, demonstrating my ability to streamline processes and drive efficiency. Beyond technical expertise, I bring a global perspective, having earned an MSc in Renewable Energy, Enterprise, and Management from Newcastle University through the prestigious Thaioil Scholarship Program, which enhanced my skills in integrating sustainable energy solutions into industrial operations. Let’s connect to collaborate on opportunities that merge technical innovation and strategic growth.
