At a young age I was intrigued by the fictional character Sherlock Holmes and his techniques and methods for solving mysteries and crimes using deductive reasoning. Little did I know fifteen years later I would be using these techniques of backward and forward reasoning to analyse products and processes, looking at ways of improving and simplifying them.
