About Sasha Mohan

My interest lies in lean manufacturing, lean product development, lean production systems, operations research and sustainable engineering. I had a brief experience in research on the topic "developing products for extreme affordability". As a problem solver, I try to engineer highly flexible systems and strategies keeping in mind the clients current needs and situation. Be it a complex or a simple problem, I pay attention to detail and start on improving the present condition for continual improvements. I use systems engineering perspective for looking into information waste for closing identified gaps. I firmly believe that sustainability will become a most important aspect of every field along with efficient cost cutting. RIT has given me the opportunity to learn and improve my skills in sustainability by providing me opportunities to work in various projects. Apart from sustainability, I have learnt various optimization tricks and shop floor knowledge on topics such as Customer Value Chain Analysis, Product Development Value Stream Mapping, etc. I like to read books and play video games in my free time.
