About Sasha Rivera

I’m a bilingual healthcare operations leader and Office Manager in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), with a focus on improving patient access, strengthening team performance, and delivering high-quality, community-centered care. Over the past 9+ years, I’ve learned that healthcare operations is rarely predictable. My role is often a mix of problem-solving in real time, supporting my team through fast-paced days, and making sure patients still get the care they need, no matter what comes up. My leadership style is both supportive and challenging. I believe in creating environments where people feel heard, valued, and supported but also encouraged to grow, take ownership, and step into their full potential. To me, leadership isn’t about competing with your team, it’s about developing them. With a background in call center and office management, I bring a strong focus on workflow improvement, patient experience, and team development. I’m especially drawn to the behind-the-scenes work; building systems that make things run more smoothly and reduce friction for both staff and patients. I’m passionate about building strong teams, developing future leaders, and creating structure in environments that don’t always feel structured. I’m continuing to grow in healthcare operations leadership, with a particular interest in process improvement and team development.
