About Sasikumar Vimalan

As a part of PMO, I have solid experience delivering strategic projects working with cross-organizational business areas including Legal, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Engineering. I've gone on to earn an MBA in Operations/Leadership & Change Management and a Six Sigma Greenbelt, which have further equipped me with a breadth of knowledge and experience. Reoccurring themes throughout my career include delivering technology/infrastructure projects, expanding business operations, designing innovative products, resolving product engineering and customer issues, managing change, and devising product solutions that ensure companies and customers retain a competitive advantage in the global market. A highly strategic and analytical thinker, my specialties include proactive risk management; multi-site/multi-project management; offshore team supervision; pricing strategies, costs reduction, and product-quality improvements; complex regulatory compliance programs; PMO and PPAP processes; phase-gate project management, Agile / Waterfall, and KANBAN methodologies. My strong analytical skills are complemented by equally strong interpersonal and communication skills. Although driven to do whatever it takes to get the job done, I am also seen as an effective mentor and coach with a good sense of humor who strives to help employees achieve their full potential. Throughout my career, I have established and facilitated communication plans that promote collaboration between engineering, production, sales, legal, and marketing to ensure the voice of the customer is reflected in product design.
