As an MBA in Logistics Management with a background in procurement, logistics, and warehousing, I have over 17 years of experience in Logistics operation, material Planning, Store/warehouse operation, Vendor development, excellence across all areas of supply chains. In addition, I have acquired extensive knowledge in purchasing, contract award, warehousing, logistics management, and inventory control. Well-versed in the use of Microsoft Office and proficient in SAP functional knowledge. In charge of raising delivery requests, preparing shipping documents, tracking shipments, and ensuring shipments are delivered on time, using logistics applications and computer tools. The ability to develop and implement strategies to reduce costs in logistics as well as maintaining and exceeding set KPI's for order turnaround and inventory management is a strong suit. Focussed on increasing distribution efficiency through warehouse space, inventory management, effective use of truckloads, enhanced reporting abilities, and cost control.
