After completion of Medical Schooling from Karnatak Medical College, Hubli had the opportunity to be trained in Neurosurgery at two of the most prestigious institutions namely - St Johns Medical College Hospital, Banglaore as Senior House Officer In Neurosurgery and at Christian Medical College Hospital as Post Graduate In Neurosurgery. Worked in various capacities as Neurosurgeon from Consultant to Professor of Neurosurgery in Bangalore. Significant experience of working in Government and Non-Government Hospitals to establish Neurosurgical Centres in Bangalore. Moment of Glory was starting the Neurosurgery Post Graduate Residency Programme at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in the capacity of Professor and Head, Department of Neurosurgery. With interest in team building and networking, was involved in the Planning, Construction, Recruitment and Execution of Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre at Devanahalli, Bangalore close to the Bangalore International Airport. This dream project was conceptualised and executed in the postion of Director and Consultant Neurosrgeon at Akash Hospital. The challenge to build a 750 bedded multi specialty hospital with Medical College Facilities in a Rural Area was daunting but the "never say die " attitude finally paid off. Presently actively working as Lead Consultant Neurosurgeon at Specialist Centre for Neuro Sciences in Bangalore
