Retired in 2016 as Managing Director at Blue Star, and currently associated with some meaningful engagements as an Investor cum Leadership Mentor for a few start-ups, and as an Independent Director on the Board of two reputed public limited Companies. In addition, also involved in social work related to Inclusive growth programs. A professional corporate experience spanning 43 years, in leadership positions with several reputed organizations, beginning with Siemens, and finally at Blue Star: on their Board as an Executive Director for 13 years, including 2 years as Deputy Managing Director and the last 7 years as Managing Director. Managed a range of functions related to International Business, HR, Finance, and Corporate Management, apart from overseeing operations related to Sales & Manufacturing, Product Development, Supply Chains, Product Service and EPC Contracts. Was actively involved with CII, as Chairman of the Maharashtra State Council and Chairman of the Western Region Sub-Committees for Inclusive Growth and Ease of Doing Business. Member of the CII National Manufacturing Council as well. Education: Management Studies from USA & UK. Systems Management, NIIT Kolkata. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, IIT Mumbai.
