A Chartered Accountant by education, a Housing Finance and Credit Information practicing professional and a mentor by passion. My experience spans over 45 years in the areas of Housing Finance, Consumer Finance, Business Development, Training, Credit Information and Management Consultancy.I was founding Managing Director of India's first Credit Information Bureau - CIBIL. My expertise spearheaded initiatives to build Credit Bureaus and develop Credit Scores in India and as well as countries like UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Srilanka and Bhutan.My influence extends beyond traditional finance as I serve as a consultant to the World Bank, offering valuable insights into Credit Information Financial infrastructure development. Having worked for over 45 years in India and other geographies in Housing Finance, Consumer Finance, Business Development, Training, Credit Information and Management Consultancy, I promoted Athena Advisors and Athena e-learn. The objective was to create a knowledge organisation to channelize my experience and learning into emerging markets.Athena CredXpert (ACX) is a testament to my dedication to empowering individuals and businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve financial well-being. At ACX we will help individuals and non-individuals in making them credit healthy and credit worthy by counselling them to repair their credit report and score. I strongly believe that my passion, knowledge and experience combined with a strong recognition and need for counselling on issues related to a credit report or score will contribute to the credit culture of India.
