Global design executive with 30+ years of experience leading cross-cultural teams in medical device and industrial design. As Head of Olympus Creative Center, I co-led the establishment of Corporate Product Design in collaboration with design partners, driving unified usability, patient safety, and design language across Japan, the US, and Europe. I successfully founded and managed new design hubs in Hamburg (Germany) and Boston (USA), building international teams and connecting global design standards with local innovation. I specialize in turning complex technologies into human-centered solutions, building design strategies that scale globally. My expertise spans medical device UX, innovation leadership, and facilitating collaboration between Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and design teams to ensure integrated, user-centered solutions. Today, I aim to leverage this global experience as an advisor, mentor, and independent consultant—bridging design excellence across healthcare, mobility, and emerging industries.
