About Satoshi Uchida

Live as you were to die tomorrow, learn as you were to live forever” is the quote that best represents the way I see the world. For me, life-long learning is a critical mindset for personal and professional development, in the context of the fast-changing world we are living in. I strongly believe in the power of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Leadership for me is about being self-aware, and being sensitive to the context of others. Living and working abroad (Japan, Chile, the UK, Switzerland, Portugal, and Spain) allowed me to experience firsthand the cultural richness of East and West. It enabled me to develop an inclusive leadership style and exceptional cross-cultural sensitivity. The way I see is that this kind of leadership creates the conditions for a team to overcome the greatest challenges and seize the promising opportunities. I am committed to fostering organizations that embrace this perspective. As an engineer, I am passionate about science and its capacity to transform people´s lives, improve health, and create a brighter future for society.
