About Satria Yuma

He is the Private Sector Engagement Specialist at UN Women Indonesia, where he leads initiatives to strengthen collaboration with businesses and industry leaders in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment. His work focuses on fostering partnerships between the private sector, government, and civil society to promote inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development. Before joining UN Women, he worked with UNDP Indonesia on Business and Human Rights, where he supported efforts to promote responsible business practices aligned with human rights principles. He also served with APINDO UMKM, where he worked closely with small and medium enterprises to advance inclusive business models and strengthen private sector engagement in national development agendas. Earlier in his career, he was involved in various research and consultancy projects covering SME development, peatland restoration, renewable energy, and disaster resilience, reflecting his broad experience in sustainable development and private sector collaboration.
