Background

About Satu Koivisto

My passion is to build bridges between academic research, education and business. I believe that integrating these three elements creates unique opportunities for innovation and growth. In my work I want to do my best to advance this integration. I am a Social Psychologist with an academic background and doctoral degree (Doctor of Science). Currently I work for Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences as RDI Director. In my previous responsibilities I have got experience from research, business and teaching. During my career I have worked for e.g, a private, stock-listed education provider (Management Institute of Finland), several universities (Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Helsinki University of Technology) as well as research institutions (Finnish Institute of Occupational Health). Working for these organizations has provided me with a great opportunity to explore future work trends, and find fresh perspectives in bridging education, academia and business.
