About Satyajit Das

With fifteen years of experience in the development sector, I bring knowledge in project implementation, project planning, staff capacity building, networking, and advocacy. My experience has allowed me to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives. I am currently working in the public health domain, specifically within the tobacco control program. As a State Project Coordinator, my primary role involves providing technical support to the Assam State Tobacco Control Cell. I focus on strengthening systems and adopting a sustainable approach to combat the issue of tobacco and work towards eradicating its menace. I have expertise in the graduation model for poverty alleviation among rural households, particularly focusing on hardcore poor families. My knowledge extends to HIV/AIDS targeted intervention projects among vulnerable populations. Additionally, I have experience working towards improving the education of deaf children.
