About Saul Hernandez

Saul is a simple person who lives with gratitude and determination in his heart. Saul’s background in leadership and organizational development helps him excel in building talent and cross-functional teams. Saul is a people-centered leader. As a Programs Operations Director, Saul has oversight over the growth and success of Project ECHO’s viral hepatitis, justice-involved, and civic portfolio. He oversees operational strategy and implementation. Saul has a proven track record of building trust, common purpose, employee engagement, and people-centered leaders. Saul has been instrumental in Project ECHO becoming a values-based organization. Saul also spearheaded the creation of Project ECHO’s first team focused on serving individuals, partners, and organizations in Latin America. Saul’s experience working with individuals experiencing incarceration spans over ten years. He considers it a blessing and the highlight of his career. He holds a master’s in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University. Saul served a two-year church service mission in the beautiful country of Colombia. He is fluent is Spanish. Saul is happily married (25+ yrs), has a beautiful daughter and three handsome grandchildren. Saul’s faith and family are his driving force. Saul is an artist, enjoys a good work-out and loves playing basketball. Most of all, Saul finds his greatest joy in spending quality time with God, family, and friends.
