About Saumin Lad

I’m an architect, medical planner, and multidisciplinary designer with over 17 years of experience delivering complex projects across India and Europe. My work sits at the intersection of design, research, execution, and innovation—where technology meets tradition, and context meets clarity. Our work spans across healthcare infrastructure, institutional buildings, master planning, and public space—with a strong focus on sustainability, medical planning, and cross-cultural design. From hospitals to city-scale interventions, I enjoy engaging deeply with the nuances of program, people, and place. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Mumbai University and a Master’s in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano, I’ve worked with international teams and local communities alike—often translating complex requirements into responsive, high-performance designs. My role at LAB (Language Architecture Body) further enriches this narrative, allowing me to engage with emerging healthcare models and collaborative design frameworks.
