I have completed my PhD in the department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Guwahati, India. The title of my PhD thesis is "Design, Development and Control of a Pipe Climbing Robot". Presently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of Notre Dame in the field of bio-robotics My research interests are as follows-1) Design and development of industrial and bio-inspired robots2) Finite element modelling and control of rigid and flexible manipulators3) Study of compliant mechanisms for fabricating grippers4) Strain based force sensing in robotsBut I am always ready to explore other areas as well. I spend my off hours playing table tennis, violin and reading Indian and world histories.
