About Savannah Brown

I am a recent graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors degree in General Studies, focusing on Human Resource Development, Sociology, and Technical Communication. With an education in Human Resource Development, Sociology, and Technical Communication, I will be thoroughly prepared to be an administrative assistant because I will have a background knowledge in workplace policies, human behavior, and professional writing. During my time at Texas Tech, I was the secretary of the student organization Raider Power of Paranormal, where I recorded and filed meeting minutes, maintained an updated calendar of meetings and events, and organized events for club members. I am currently working in customer service as a service team member at Michael’s, where I have practiced many skills relevant to my future career, such as operating a phone system, communicating effectively with guests, and time management. I have a true passion for helping others, which has allowed me to flourish in a customer service setting. In my eyes, a fulfilling position is one where I will be able to support an individual with their day-to-day tasks and do anything I can to make their job simpler.
