About Savannah Hemann

My career started in the sterile processing department, where I processed surgical instruments and cleaned and delivered equipment throughout the hospital. I left there to become a patient care specialist, in the operating room, while I attended surgical tech training. I was surgical tech for five years when I graduated nursing school. For the next eight years, I circulated in the operating room. I was then asked to start a surgical tech apprenticeship for employees to further their careers and education, which has personally been a highlight in my career. I have been a preceptor, a charge nurse, an educator, an ortho scrub, and a ortho and neuro circulator. I have experience with urology, general, and gyn. I am a dependable and hard worker that learns quickly. I prioritize and multi-task with ease. I enjoy working on a team, but I am self sufficient as well. I have 20 years of experience in perioperative services where I've learned a lot and enjoyed my career.
