About Savio Marku

I am a young professional with a passion for finance and a desire to work for a large firm. My name is Savio Marku. I was a student at La Salle University graduated in May 2023. I chose to major in Finance because I always had a love for the financial sector. This love will allow me to gain valuable hands-on experience that I can apply to future opportunities. By being a Albanian, I have repeatedly been exposed to new cultures and diverse groups of people. These experiences have made me able to adapt quickly to changes and gain a broader perspective. I am always curious trying new objectives and enjoy learning. I like to solve problems and fix errors. I am a very detail orientated person, and I keep my goals and tasks organized to maximize productivity. I believe that the skills that I have attained from the dynamic environments and competitive university life define me, and I am looking forward to implementing and polishing them in any opportunity I receive. Upon graduating from La Salle University, I was selected to participate in Holman's Rotation Program. As part this program, I will be working with a different team in a different sector of the company each year. The program lasts 3 years. Currently, I am gaining experience in Accounts Payable sector. I am thrilled to learn about the different functions of the business and to gain experience in a variety of areas, such as receiving and processing invoices, journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and automating AP processes, etc. My detail-oriented and organized skills, as well as my strong communication and problem-solving skills, are helping me to adjust to the new team and to contribute and learn more about this current possition. My background includes: Computer: SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Infinitum Language: Bilingual in (English and Albanian)
