About Sayan Dey

AI/ML Engineer |( Qualcomm Impact Award Winner 2023)Proficient in building scalable and reliable ML solutions addressing real-world challenges, seeking role in production grade ML engineering or core-ML based Data Science work opportunities.Experience in Machine Learning:Spearheaded development of a high-recall log anomaly detector using deep learning models (80% recall). Implemented elastic weight consolidation to overcome catastrophic forgetting during incremental training. Build Data Pipelines with SQL and python to detect data drift and decide the trigger for retraining. Deployed the model as a web service using Kubernetes, Fastapi, Redis addressing availability and scaling requirements.Skills Programming Languages / Frameworks: Python (Proficient), C++(Intermediate), Sklearn, Keras, PyTorch, NLTK SWE Competencies: DSA, Object Oriented Programming (OOPs), Github actions CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDBML Competencies: High-Level ML System Design, LLMs, Recommendation System, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, LSTMs, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Bagging-Boosting, Topic Modelling, Linear Regression, Naive Bayes, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Clustering, Mathematical Intuition of topics such as gradient descent, Optimizers, Activations, Attention Mechanism, SVD, PCA, LSTM, Backpropagation etc.
