Urban Planner | Civil Engineer | Researcher | Sustainable Development Advocate I am a dedicated Urban Planner, Civil Engineer, and Researcher with expertise in sustainable urban development, infrastructure planning, stormwater management, and transportation systems. My work bridges the gap between urban planning, environmental sustainability, and civil engineering, focusing on resilient cities, climate-responsive infrastructure, and public mobility solutions. With a strong academic foundation, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Mysore, where my research focuses on sustainable stormwater management and urban water conservation. My previous work includes an M.Tech in Urban and Regional Planning, where I conducted an evaluation study on Mysuru’s Public Bike Share (PBS) system, analyzing its integration with urban transport. I also hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering, specializing in Building Construction Technology. My professional experience spans site engineering, urban research, and master planning. As a Site Engineer, I have supervised construction projects, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and cost-effective execution. As a Researcher and Urban Planner, I have conducted in-depth studies on stormwater management, lake conservation, blue-green infrastructure, and transportation planning, using GIS and data-driven analysis to support urban policy development. Additionally, I have worked as a Personal Assistant to a Member of Parliament in Afghanistan, gaining experience in public policy, governance, and community development initiatives. My goal is to contribute to sustainable urban transformations, resilient infrastructure planning, and inclusive city development, ensuring that cities evolve in harmony with the environment while being accessible, efficient, and climate-resilient. I remain committed to leveraging my expertise to develop sustainable, equitable, and climate-resilient cities worldwide.
